I discovered Ancient Age bourbon while writing my dissertation. It was a recommend from a purveyor in North Carolina as one of the smoothest bourbons for the price. Now, it ain’t the smoothest BUT at ~$8 per 750ml it IS cheap!! I mean inexpensive.

( several buddies have been pleasantly surprised by AA’s smoothness after joking me for serving swill…)
