~PP~ powerpoint bucks - the new dollar

I was chatting with a friend this morning who was lamenting a project for a client.  (The usual: massive disorganization, bad project management, see Dilbert cartoon for a litany of the rest).  I mentioned that much of what was happening seemed to be motivated by the semi-annual reports to the CEO for continued funding and blessings.  Her response, ‘Wow, that has got to be the most expensive PowerPoint Deck ever.’

What. A. Novel. Concept!  Can we measure our projects by assigning them a dollar per slide amount based on the final deliverable?  This could work for any documentation.  Total project cost / # of documentation pages.  An inversion of this would be to come up with an index price for a slide or a page of documentation.   Then you could calculate your projects in terms of powerpoint slides!!

“I can’t believe we came in ~PP~200 under budget”

(~PP~ = the monetary symbol of the PowerPoint Nation)
or

” ~PP~ 5324 ?!?  Are you fucking kidding?! That is ridiculous. I am not paying one red ~XL~ over ~PP~5200 for that!!! “

Does this new pricing scheme translate?  Can I compute the cost of everything based on ~PP~?
